I believe the Tecsun PL-330 to be the best ssb radio for the money. It's a really good looking radio, it has all the features you want. A ham radio operator used one as a communications receiver and made a contact from Arizona to Oregon. So I'd say it far exceeds its mission as a pocket portable travel radio.

This is my second experience with this vendor and I HIGHLY recommend them; shipping care and speed, posting accuracy and detail, and customer service. Anon-co is exemplary. This particular radio tends to overload (see online reviews) but for a small, inexpensive portable, does a decent job. It is no PL880 and while superior at MW reception to the PL680, overall it is no match on SW and overall.

The radio PL-880 works as a charm, and I am thinking ordering me also the the Tecsun H501x from this seller because price is good and service is more than excellent. Thanks a lot.
