They were almost drop in replacements. I'm very happy with the way they look and sound, but be aware that the female spade connector on the tweeter is too big for the male spade from the crossover, so it will need to be crimped or secured with some other improvised method in order to make a solid connection. Since JBL isn't making any legacy parts, this is a great alternative, and I highly recommend them.
