I was actually sent demi-pointes or soft blocks which have no shanks. Demi-pointes are listed separately by this seller, as are pointe shoes with hard backs. I wanted the shoes I ordered for pointe-work (toe dancing to the uninitiated). It is not safe to do pointe-work in shoes with no insole (also called shank or back). They do not provide the necessary support. And yes the condition was new.

A few days later Items arrived. - The bags were stated as 17.2 KG but felt not this weight, I weighed on calibrated scales and bags x 3 were 14 KG, to 15.2 Kg ,8 Kg short.
