This is a fairly heavy stand with light plastic fittings, so it might not be ideal for regular every day use, but for the workload I have it will ideal. I am semi-retired, and did not need to spend hundreds of dollars on a stand that would only be used once a month...but I did not want something light and wambly either. This stand is an ideal compromise, and is solid and stable when loaded. I am pleased with this purchase.

They probably didn't endure any worse conditions in shipping than they will in a road case for live use. Enclosed in the package was a flier for other products by the seller. They caught my interest.
