This handheld calculator has a 3.5-inch color backlit display, and it runs on a rechargeable battery. It has all the features required to complete high school and college math and science curricula. The TI-Nspire CX supports numerous functions including limits, derivatives, and integrals. It offers color graphs, lists, and the ability to use apps. Texas Instruments uses the Computer Algebra System in this machine, which lets it perform complex calculations. You can see the value expressed in multiple ways, including as linear and non-linear expressions. When you are graphing, you can create a toggle table of categories and values. Students can also use it to create custom sequence graphs. It will check a particular type of point by zooming in to infinitesimally small values. The analyzing graphs menu allows you to find the zero, minimum, maximum, inflection, dy/dx, and integral. Like a regular scientific calculator, the TI-Nspire CX computes mathematical expressions and solves equations. In addition, it plots function graphs, constructs geometric figures, and performs statistical analyses. You can also use it to model a new version without having to change all the data. The CX can deliver a 3D graph for polynomial expressions with a clear answer. These calculators also support the creation of a zero matrix, derivative at a point, and complex and real roots of polynomials. When you are using it to store equations, it has an available user memory of 64 MB and total memory of 100 MB. The graphing calculator accepts programmed commands and provides an interactive learning environment. You can program the TI-Nspire using the student version of TI-BASIC or Lua languages. This Texas Instruments nSpire technology includes available software for Windows and Mac OS X for you to create compatible files. The Nspire CX uses USB accessories to connect with your laptop or desktop computer. It handles documents and data like a computer, and it features a color touch pad for ease of use. With such robust features, the TI-Nspire CX is an essential tool to study for and pass SAT, ACT, and Praxis exams. You can also use this graphing calculator during the SAT and ACT testing situations. This TI-Nspire CX measures 7.5 inches long by 3.4 inches wide by 0.60 inches thick and weighs 8.5 ounces. The flexible gray case covers the ports and can slide over the back of the Nspire CX while you are using it. You can charge the batteries with a USB cable connected to your PC. Alternatively, you can use the micro-USB port to charge it in your car. It takes about four hours to fully charge the batteries of these graphing calculators. A fully charged battery delivers about two weeks' worth of use in these calculators. This efficient TI-Nspire student calculator helps you work through statistical, calculus, and algebraic problems.
