An adaptation of Janette Oke’s series of books, Love Comes Softly - The Complete Collection (2009) is a tale of love, faith and hardships faced by families on the Old West Frontier, which is not a very pleasant place to be in the 19th century. This eight-disc set begins with ‘Love Comes Softly’, the story of young widow, Marty Claridge, and her marriage of arrangement with Clark Davis. Successive movies of this Christian drama series show how Marty’s family blooms and takes you down three generations, ending with ‘Love Finds a Home’ where Dr. Belinda Simpson (Marty’s adopted grand-daughter) is torn between love and her career as a doctor. Other movies in this eight-disc set include ‘Love’s Enduring Promise’, ‘Love’s Long Journey’, ‘Love’s Abiding Joy’, ‘Love’s Unending Legacy’, ‘Love’s Unfolding Dream’, and ‘Love Takes Wing’.
