Suggest wrapping fragile glass ornaments in paper, then bubble wrap and cushion it in the box to make sure it doesn't move around or break during shipment. The weight of the item, the weight of the packing paper, and the structural properties of that paper were all carefully considered to ensure there was virtually no chance of breakage during transit.
