Actually it was packaged so pretty, like a gift and it was even sealed in plastic to protect the book from any potential moisture. Book was listed as "like new" but to my eyes it looks better than listed...so the description was good. Exactly what I wanted. Will buy from again. And I've been collecting glass for well over 20 years. I swear it could have gone through a tornado and come out fine. It's a gorgeous, heavy, well-made dish. Exactly as described - honestly it's even nicer than I expected. Highly recommend this seller. Thanks so much!

Not sure about the shipping service they used, the box was clearly labeled as fragile and was quite damaged, but it was packed well enough that there was none done to the item itself.
