Join the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat, two heroes on a race through their own realms to save the world in 'Sonic Rush' for Nintendo DS. Released in 2005, this DS game lets players play as either character in intertwining adventures in several atmospheres, with differing outcomes and storylines to keep players on the edges of their seats. The game features challenging duels with bosses that charge at the player on two screens and sees the introduction of a new Sonic arch rival. The game uses both of the DS's dual screens, allowing players to perform long dives, loops, and high jumps from screen to screen in both two-dimensional and 3D action. Up to four players can compete in the game's racing mode.
