The main reason I bought the refurbished OptiPlex 7050, was to save my 3.5" HDD from my old and failing PC. But when I opened up the 7050 I saw that the bay was filled with a caddy that didn't let me slide my HDD in. Try as I might there was no way I could find to make it work. I finally had to purchase an external HDD mount. My suggestion to you is, at least let the potential buyer that only the 2.5" bay is available. Alternatively, how to do it.
