Description says it is used but other than the upgraded knuckle couplers looks in appearance to be NOS overall. It was packed well, but arrived with the rear knuckle coupler shoved in, and the smokestack to the caboose broken off, much to my surprise since it was packed the same as the other 2 cars. The seller gave a multiple item discount on the shipping and this car for the price was a great value. I recommend this seller.HO Athearn Blue box train auction extravaganza!
