This is because, in order to fit 12 tracks per side, the songs are heavily compressed, which results in low sound quality. Additionally, there are quick fade-outs and other issues. The printed sleeve is also not fully inserted into the case; it is half in and half out. The portion that is sticking out wraps around the case, displaying the cover, side, and back. Given the price, it's acceptable, but if I had known about the poor compression, I would have passed!
