L. Sclater, and the willing aid of Dr. W. Peters of Berlin, the originals of Muller's plates were placed at our disposal; and that the Delegates of the Clarendon Press accepted the responsibility of publishing it; are our justifications for the production of. But I should have asked questions about the book. It is really just a recreation of a collection of pages from old catalogues. I was hoping for more information & history of some of the Chickering models. This was not worth $18 to me. Would have been helpful if the seller had given examples of some pages.
