There is a bit of rubbed off paint on the steel but nothing serious. I wouldn't say well packed as the legs were exposed to the elements, so the tip of legs were a bit scratched. But that's OK for outdoor use. There are many listings of the same chair, but it appears that they are not the same. The one I received from this seller has wicker-effect on the arms, backs and front. I'm very pleased to get this type!

After contacting the seller, they expedited the item and we received it a couple of days later. The packaging was a bit tatty and the brolly had a slight dink in the metal connection but it was still o.k., so we just kept it. He has a broken nose! However that would be due to rough handling by the carrier. Nose will be easily mended when I find my super glue. Then he will be placed on my water feature where hopefully he will deter pigeons from drinking and dropping.
