A detective with a poisonous collar attached to his neck must restore order to the frightened city of Shinjuku in Collar X Malice. A shadowy crime syndicate has launched a campaign of terror and violence in the city, and players must seek the aid of five mysterious strangers to uncover the truth and remove the collar before it's too late. The game unfolds like a visual novel, with players navigating a winding world of strange characters and making decisions that alter the narrative and may ultimately result in a variety of different endings.
