Based on the graphic novel HOKOTU NO KEN by Buronson & Tetsuo Hara, this live action sci-fi action epic follows the travails of legendary warrior Kenshiro (Gary Daniels), who, with the guidance of his dead father, battles an evil ruler (Costas Mandylor) who has kidnapped his love (Isako Washio). Co-starring Chris Penn, Malcolm McDowell, and Melvin Van Peebles, FIST OF THE NORTH STAR also features a cameo appearance from former MTV veejay "Downtown" Julie Brown.
