He is the quintessential rebel, upsetting senior officers with his antics and risk-taking while simultaneously amazing them with his skill. In the end, Maverick overcomes a tragic loss and his need to stand out in the crowd and proves that he can shine as part of a team. Anthony Edwards stars as Maverick's best friend and co-pilot, Goose, and Meg Ryan first garnered attention as Goose's wife, Carole. Superb state-of-the-art aerial photography makes TOP GUN, directed by Tony Scott, one of the most exciting and entertaining films of its genre. This top grossing movie of 1986 is allegedly based on a Navy fighter pilot program at the Miramar Naval Base in San Diego, California, and was filmed on location at the base.

    Item had original box in pictures that looked to be in good condition. Seller stuck label to original box, no outside box, no packing, no protection for item or original box. Now that the item has arrived, the original box which gives the item a portion of its worth is now destroyed. Miracle item arrived undamaged. During the week from purchase date to ship date the seller could of took the time to decently pack the item for shipping.

    Upon trying to power on the item, found the item to be inoperable. Most likely damaged because of the poor packing of item for shipping.

    So.I contacted the seller before buying asking if everything on the unit worked.They responded back quickly with yes everything works on it and it plays tapes well.I get it and the right deck doesn't work. The audio is terrible.Bought brand new RCA cables and brand and ordered brand new tapes. Sound is still bad.Eveything that I've bought electronic from Ebay has come in bubble wrap to protect the item.This was thrown in a box with shipping paper around it.Not happy with this item at all.
