I am in Texas and the sun beats down on these covers for hours a day. They are easy to put on and secure, however are not very thick. They do dry out over time but I expect that. For the price its a great cover. If you have sharp edges or corners then protect the cover so it wont tear. The wind has also been bad enough to blow underneath and tear my covers. Great little throw down cover.
