It appears sturdy enough and good value for price. Only complaint is it automatically turns on as soon as the head is moved at all, which isn't any huge problem. Shipped with battery installed and an additional battery which should help with any accidental drain from unwanted pwr activations.

I like that they are plastic so I don't scratch anything and I just tested them and they are just as accurate as my expensive one only off by a couple thousands of a mm. Very happy with them.
