The mounting hole next to the neck is in the right spot for my 1979 Les Paul Custom. That era pickguards had the hole by the neck over 10mm from the pickup ring. It’s like Gibson lost it’s way in the late 70s and early 80s. Most Les Paul pickguards won’t work because that screw hole was twice as far from the pickup ring. It took ordering three different pickguards to finally get one that lined up with the hole. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

After several weeks I received a bag containing remnants of what was supposed to be my order. I contacted the seller and explained that it wasn't his fault what happened but without hesitation Larry processed my original order and shipped out a replacement within 3 days. I will continue to use this seller for all my future purchases.
