The plastic of the pump chamber got very hot when it failed and may have ingested some sand or something. The pump chamber was chewed up. I used coarse grit sandpaper followed by finer grades until I got it fairly shiny with a few pits. I probably took off enough plastic to reduce the maximum pressure the pump can produce but it works.

That had nothing to do with the Seller and in NO WAY WAS the Sellers fault, the USPS just doesn’t care and is a total mess.
