Product Information
Adapted from the popular novels by John Galsworthy and spanning the Victorian Era through the 1920s, the two FORSYTE miniseries - THE FORSYTE SAGA (2002) and THE FORSYTE SAGA, SERIES II (2003) - plunge into the passions and intrigues of a wealthy, sprawling British family. Series One stars Damian Lewis] as Soames Forsyte, an English solicitor from a well-to-do British clan who marries a beautiful, elite woman named Irene, but grows frustrated by his inability to possess her; episodes then follow the family's exploits over the ensuing two decades. Series Two visits the next Forsyte generation, with Fleur - the daughter of Annette and Soames, and Jon, the son of Jolyon and Irene -growing smitten with one another - with disastrous consequences. Both series appear in full in this box set. The huge, sprawling cast includes Corin Redgrave, Rupert Graves, Damian Lewis and Gina McKee.
