Featuring the player’s cooking coach, Mama, Cooking Mama 2 teaches gamers how to cook by using the touchscreen and the microphone. By using the Nintendo DS’s stylus, gamers play several mini-games where they get to chop, dice, slice, boil, and bake. Cooking Mama 2 for the Nintendo DS features 96 different delicious dishes for the player to prepare. Consisting of multiple mini-games, each mini-game in Cooking Mama 2: Dinner with Friends represents a different aspect of preparing a meal, from cutting vegetables to frying chicken to stirring ingredients. Cooking Mama 2 for the Nintendo DS also gives the player the new challenge of cooking dishes for Mama’s friends, where one failed step ends the game. Coming with customisable features, Cooking Mama 2 allows the player to change the look of the kitchen and even Mama herself by earning gold stars and medals after successfully completing a recipe. Cooking Mama 2 allows up to four players to take part in this cooking extravaganza.
