I would quibble, however, with the instructions provided on the bags, which require you to try to sift out the hulls from the grits through dipping the grits repeatedly in water. I found this operation almost impossible to do effectively. Moreover, and more importantly, it eliminates one of the most healthy parts of the grits - the hulls which contain fiber and vitamins. Directions should specify instead using the grits AS IS, and using 4X amt. water.
