They are thin, brittle feeling and prepared terribly so they feel hard in parts and old. I purchased two extra large cowhides and one is large at best, and the other is small barely a metre and a bit by a metre and a half. They are cheap looking, don’t sit flat due to a big amount of creases that are dried into the surface. Nothing to do with being folded. Don’t bother purchasing from the seller. Buy a cowhide that is more expensive and avoid

I asked seller for pics of his stock and was able to chose from the pics he sent, then I received that exact one so quickly!! It’s soft, silky and smooth and a beautiful design - no marks or flaws, no smell, only some creases from packaging but I’m sure they’ll flatten out over time. The only thing was it’s a bit thinner than expected - but what more can you ask for at this price? If you want something thicker you’re going to have to pay $500 + for it.

This hide is a classic. Since every hide is individual, we knew it would be a lucky dip! It was shipped from Pakistan because it wasn’t available locally, so shipping took a little longer. Our hide was mostly dark brown, with lighter speckled fur on the sides. We aired it out for a few hours. It’s soft and silky. There are creases, but we expected that. Three VERY happy customers!
