Unit worked straight out of the box. Still getting to grips with all the functions but so far pleased with item. Good value scanner. Only scans in analogue but digital scanners appear to get through batteries at a great rate and most digital signals are encrypted as far as I can see

I bought the pre programmed version and this proved to be the right decision. Plenty of videos on youtube to show how best to use it so hours of stuff to get through.. Recomended you wont be disappointed Im not.
