The "Alice in Wonderland" color primer provides a refreshing deviation from Adams' other BabyLit primers, all of which focus on counting. The many peculiar characters in Carroll's novel, such as the red Queen of Hearts and the time-conscious white rabbit, lend themselves to a natural introduction to colors.The literary ties are creative, but the illustrations take these primers to the next level and make them shine. Alison Oliver's illustration style is distinct with its bright colors and array of patterns that are sure to capture the attention and imagination of children. Designed to introduce the literary classics to the youngest readers, these books are delightfully fabulous. The two most recent, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Jane Eyre," are marvelous, but also check out the first two, "Romeo and Juliet" and "Pride and Prejudice." They are written by Utah's Jennifer Adams and beautifully illustrated by the talented Alison Oliver., This book is a excellent read and my daughter loved it. The pages are really colorful and full of adventure, she couldn't put the book down., These are the sweetest board books I have ever laid eyes on! Looking at these book-covers via online does not do them any justice at all! The coloring is gorgeous - vibrant and eye catching! The quality of these books just blows my mind - they are so sturdy, and definitely kid friendly. But what I adore the most - the theme to these books! I am a huge Alice in Wonderland fan - all of the main characters make their appearance in this book, each taking a turn teaching your bundle of joy different colors through Alice in Wonderland inspired illustrations. And these pictures are all so cute and captivating!, These books are wonderful! They are very sturdy and the pages are thick and easy for little chubby hands to turn. The illustrations are done by Alison Oliver and she did a great job. The colors are beautiful as well as the pictures., This book is beautiful and simple...The pages seem to come to life with the art and details of it. The pictures come to life on the pages and I know that any young child would be stimulated by all the multiple colors and pictures that are within these pages.
