Most UK doorbell chime unit transformers only have 8 volts, which will not power them enough to work. I replaced my doorbell transformer with a 24 volt din rail BG Cub 1 bell transformer from Screwfix and used a Ring enclosure. Simple job and now the Ring doorbell works great. Very happy with purchase now. Happy to recommend this seller.
