Well wrapped, in fact so well wrapped, lots of foam around each part, but from what I remember it says if it arrives broken they replace the glass, which I was prepared for, but was no problem. It arrived before the due date which was fantastic. Bought as a present so plugged it in while still in the box, wasn't hard to do as the plug is at one end where you can easily take it out.
