Quality is a lot thinner as well and shorter than traditional skeins bought in bins at craft stores. It's more for someone who is just beginning, and not sure if they want to invest in a lot of product. The conditions was new in package. The value was about right, considering, I was about to spend the same amount on 4 quality skeins of yarn, that were thicker, and longer. Appearance was as shown. Shipping time was as described as well. 3 stars, meh
