This makes splitting logs a therapy. This came with a stand and safety guard; the latter I have not yet assembled. The stand took a little bit of man handling and spannering to get it together. It required 13 and 16mm spanners/sockets to tighten the bolts. The stand is solid and takes the strain out of bending down to operate. A fantastic piece of kit.

Have assembled this FM8 with stand which is fairly straight forward with high quality components going into pre-drilled holes perfectly. Up and running and running a few big logs - it was like a knife through butter - no more swinging the big axe for me! All round recommended!
