After I learned more about the computer I put it in, I determined that it had a slot for a network adapter more like a laptop, something I saw written somewhere on the internet but didn't find until recently. So, I'm just going to keep using this and a PCI network adapter card instead of having to run wiring inside the computer case. I do use this for bluetooth speakers and they pair flawlessly. Great item!
