I was surprised how easy it was to install! If you're thinking about doing it yourself: do it! In the time it would take you to drop your rig off at a garage you could have had it done (I did it in one hour taking my time) there are videos on YouTube that show you how to install it. Use a screwdriver to keep the window up out of the way not tape.
