The battery was dead and when replaced it worked. Hoping it will be ok. Looks like a copy of the Trend version. This is made of plastic and won’t take being thrown in a tool box. I’m sure if used respectfully it will last. It does what it states and the measurements are accurate, so for the price and with free delivery it is pretty good value.
