I checked the mic with another radio to see how well the audio of the new mic compared with the mic that came with the radio and the HM-118TN audio was the best I have heard. The clarity and distinct sound was EXCELLENT !!!!! No scratchy sounds from the PTT button super clear audio. I highly recommend this mic for your Icom IC-2001H VHF Transceiver. VERY GOOD !!!
