The seller was careful to package the art in a protective sleeve as well as several layers of protective cardboard. Although the seller mailed the item in a timely fashion, the item did get stuck mid-transit and was held by USPS for two weeks. When I relayed this info to the seller, he responded immediately and looked into the situation with the post office. I appreciate his communication and transparency.
