The G.I. Joe Military Airborne Police action figure, created by Hasbro, was designed to represent veterans and U.S. army recruits that have darker skin than the original G.I. Joe doll. Standing at a height of about 12 inches, this African-American action figure features an Airborne Police military uniform that has been crafted to exact specifications. The military police are in charge of keeping law and order amongst army ranks, wherever they are deployed. What makes the Airborne Police particularly special is that they are qualified to parachute into locations whenever necessary, just like their companion airborne troops. The job takes special training that troops and Airborne Military Police take particular pride in, and the Hasbro G.I. Joe Airborne Military Police is a tip of the hat to those that have served in these uniforms. Joe wears a khaki uniform with a white belt, black boots and a black helmet. His accessories include an MP armband, a canteen and holder, a pistol in its own holster, a machine gun and a billy club. The backpack he wears comes with an extendable phone. The Hasbro G.I. Joe Airborne Military Police action figure can pay homage to America’s African-American World War II veterans. The action figure features the trademark paratrooper’s symbol of an open parachute centered between two wings.
