I do not believe it was a packaging issue; the pedestal was well wrapped. It was most likely caused by rough handling during shipment. I immediately contacted the seller who quickly responded. I opted to keep the jardiniere, and he offered a fair price for that. The matter was resolved within hours of discovering the damage. I reached out to the seller about how the cassettes sound. The seller was nice enough to test all four cassettes, and report any findings on them. Thank you. While this isn’t the biggest deal, one cassette smelled like a strong perfume. But that’s something maybe silica gel can remove? Again, all cassettes were tested and sounded great.
