An animated holiday classic takes on an interactive twist in How the Grinch Stole Christmas! for Nintendo DS. Cast in the role of the green and grumpy Grinch, players must ensure the residents of Whoville have no joy, fun, decorations, or gifts. To carry out his dastardly deed, the Grinch must carefully sneak into houses to abscond with a specific number of "large" presents in each dwelling. Timing-based mini-games are used to avoid detection from nearby Whos, and players can also hide in nooks, slide down chimneys, use elevators, and more. Three difficulty settings lead to three increasingly elaborate endings, and players can also unlock various bonus features by collecting decorations and "small" presents within each home.
