Unit is well made and feels like quality. The mic is very lightweight, and probably low quality (but I have a Shure SM58, non-counterfeit, to use with it). Using this only as a PA system for my flute, and as is mentioned in many reviews, the output is not really enough. I read the documentation, and have both the "mic input" level and the "main level" set to 30 (the max), and it is not very loud at all!

Sounds good, very portable and it sounds very crisp. I definitely recommend buying this. It sounds good as hell. Looks good. It’s like a bookshelf speaker size wise. A tad bit bigger tho but easily around the size of a bookshelf speaker. I love it already just like the rest of my Ion products I’ve purchased over time
