There is no doubt that you will need a 90 degree connector for the power into the type c connection. I wired a type c connection to the outside of the case and soldered it directly to the 5v pins on the board. There was room to wire in a gps and a 2000mah battery. This is going to hang from my overhead conceal in my truck so the battery really isn’t needed. Wiring the USB-C to the 5V pins directly and fitting GPS and a 2000mAh battery inside shows some solid planning. Hanging it from your truck’s overhead conceal with a hardwired 12V to 5V supply is a slick solution. Appreciate you sharing how you integrated it all! ENJOY! 73's!

Plenty of room inside for battery and small gps chip. I used the DIY 180 TTL gps chip, required some modification to case to fit wiring. Be sure to get the 90 degree usb cable for power. Love the look of this case. Perfect for car mount mobile node. Great communications with the seller.
