This item is a gasket that cannot be bent and was shipped between two pieces of used cardboard that was slightly bent during shipping. I was able to get the bend out of the gasket and it will seal properly. Seller needs to ship items properly, I was very close not to accept the item and return it to the sender.

I think it was new, that's how it looked. My one complaint is with the packaging. They shipped it in a huge box for the tiniest part, so the box blew away as soon as the UPS driver put it on my porch. I was lucky I saw him deliver it.
