As for this exact whistle,the only purpose that it was good for,is that it kept my brother's wife young puppy dog from barking so much,so it served some purpose...I'm good with these,so I don't need any more for at least 2-3 years...ya,it does make a tea kettle sound,so people can hear it...I was trying not to wake up my brother or his family,when their dog barks at me...It's decent for the price!
