The HP (J9775A#ABA) 2530-48g 48-Port Rack-Mountable Ethernet Switch is a next-generation, energy-efficient, Layer 2 Ethernet switch with 48 ports that supports PoE-plus and provides up to 30 watts of power per port. This switch is designed for ease of use in enterprise edge, branch office, and SMB deployments. The fully managed switches deliver full Layer 2 capabilities with optional PoE+, 10GbE uplinks, enhanced access security, sFlow, IPv6 Host support, and traffic prioritization. The HP (J9775A#ABA) 48-Port Rack-Mountable Ethernet Switch is compatible with the HP Intelligent Management Center (HMC) so that the entire network can be operated from a single view. The J9775A#ABA 2530-48g 48-Port HP Ethernet Switch can be mounted on a desktop, on a wall mount, or in a rack unit space in a 19-inch equipment rack. The J9775A#ABA Switch has 48 RJ-45, 1000Base-T type network connection cable ports, a management connector, and 4 SFP connectors. The HP J9775A#ABA 48-Port Networking Ethernet Switch uses a Gigabit Ethernet Data Link Protocol and Radius, Secure Shell v.2 SSH2, and TACACS+ authentication methods. The frequency required power is 50/60 Hz, with a nominal voltage of 120/230 volts from AC power supplies. The J9775A#ABA 48-Port HPE Ethernet Switch processor has a power clock speed of 800MHz. The module measures 10 inches deep, 1.8 inches high, and 17.4 inches wide, and it has a weight of 6.79 pounds. The Hewlett Packard (J9775A#ABA) 48-Port Ethernet Switch meets a long list of compliance standards for servers and switches that include IEEE 802.1ab (LLDP), IEEE 802.1D, IEEE 802.1p, IEEE 802.1Q, IEEE 802.1s, IEEE 802.1w, IEEE 802.1x, IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3ad (LACP), IEEE 802.3az, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x. Features of the HP J9775A#ABA 48 Port HPE networking Ethernet Switch include Access Control List (ACL) support, SFP connectors, ARP support, Auto-Uplink (auto MDI/MDI-X), BOOTP support, and Class of Service (CoS). Additional features of the HP (J9775A#ABA) 2530-48g 48-Port Ethernet Switch are Support of DHCP, Dual Firmware Images, Flow Control, and the ability to operate at Full Duplex Mode. Also included in the HP (J9775A#ABA) Switch is Generic Attribute Registration Protocol (GARP), Half-Duplex Mode, IPv6 support, LLDP support, Multicast Suppression, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Port Mirroring, and sFlow. The J9775A#ABA 48-Port Ethernet Switch also supports SNTP, STP Root Guard, and VLAN protocols. The HP J9775A\u0023ABA HPE’s 48 channels are remote manageable through CLI, HTTP, RMON 1, RMON 2, RMON 3, RMON 9, SNMP 1, SNMP 2c, SNMP 3, SSH-2, Telnet, and TFTP remote management protocols. The HP (J9775A#ABA) Ethernet switch employs fully managed switches to deliver full Layer 2 capabilities with optional PoE+, 10GbE uplinks, enhanced access security, sFlow, IPv6 Host support, and dedicated traffic flow prioritization. Compatibility with the HP Intelligent Management Center (HMC) allows control from a single view, and the device complies with a host of standards and protocols.

The modules arrived in good condition and look to have no serious deficiencies in quality, though the contacts had tarnished and needed cleaned before use (typical for electronics this age.) The seller was keen to ensure each module was individually wrapped to avoid damage in shipping. The modules function completely perfectly when tested. Good seller, would buy from them again.
