It’s very sturdy with material that is of the same weight (or even heavier) than name-brand products. The only thing is that it’s a little on the small side - but that’s on me, I knew the dimensions when I bought it. I wanted a good first aid kit for my car, something similar to what I carried while deployed in the Army, e.g., coagulation agents, gloves, scissors, dressings, etc. This fit the bill, but I added items - now it’s stuffed.
