The background was very white with the letters strong and bold black. There are holes punched near each corner which will help with mounting the sign. High quality product and seller has good communication. There was a slight delay in receiving the sign but when communicating with seller they’d been in a terrible weather situation which I’d seen on the news. Totally understandable.Warning! My first purchase was YEARS ago, and only one of those two signs faded with time (it was facing the sun and ocean -- I was surprised it lasted as long as it did); the other sign from back then faces north and looks as new as the day I received it. I went out of my way to find this seller again (to order one replacement and a couple of spares). The new signs look identical in font, design, etc. I highly recommend this seller. A+++++Caution!
