Little Wheels Policies
1.1. Little Wheels is compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations (2000)
2. About Little Wheels
2.1. Little Wheels is a sole trader business operated by Andrew Wood.
2.2. We sell collectable toy and model vehicles. These are usually second hand toys which may have previously been played with by children or models made specifically for the adult collector.
2.3. You may contact Little Wheels via email on email@example.com.
3.1. Payments for the items sold are made via PayPal
4.1. Delivery is via Royal Mail parcel post within the UK or via Airmail outside the UK.
4.2. Items are usually dispatched within three working days of the order being received.
5. Descriptions of items
5.1. We take great care to provide fair and accurate descriptions of the items for sale.
5.2. All of the items for sale on Little Wheels have been previously owned and a good many of them have been damaged by previous owners, generally referred to as ‘play wear’
5.3. Please make sure that you are fully aware of what you are buying and its condition before making a purchase.
5.4. The descriptions on the website are in a number of forms:
5.4.1. A set of large, high resolution photographs of the item
5.4.2. A written description of the condition of the item
5.4.3. Where possible the item is fully identified by brand of maker and model number and version on the ‘Toy’ tab of the web page describing the item.
6. Bubble Packs
6.1. Many items for sale by Little Wheels were originally sold in a bubble pack, which is a clear, moulded plastic protective cover attached to a printed card. Most of these have been opened for the photographs to be taken.
6.2. The packs are opened by either making a cut with a craft knife around part of the plastic bubble or by cutting a flap in the card large enough for the item to be removed from the back
6.3. Where bubble packs have been opened there is a note telling you so
7. Items unavailable
7.1. If after making a purchase the chosen item is found not to be available you will receive a full refund of the purchase price and any delivery charges via the same method that was used to purchase the item in the first place.
8. Your right to cancel
8.1. You have a right to cancel your purchase and to receive a full refund of the purchase price plus the post and packing fee you paid at the time of purchase within seven days of making the purchase
8.2. You must give Little Wheels notice of cancellation via email on firstname.lastname@example.org within the seven day limit.
8.3. If you cancel after the item has been despatched you are requested to take reasonable care of the item and to return it immediately in good condition and at your own expense to Little Wheels at the address shown on your invoice.
9. Your right to return items
9.1. You may return any item purchased and receive a full refund of the original purchase price plus the post and packing fee you paid at the time of purchase subject to the conditions below.
9.2. If the item is shown to be unsatisfactory because it was not as described on the website we will also refund the cost of return postage to Little Wheels.
9.3.1. Before returning an item you must notify Little Wheels via email at email@example.com that you will be returning the item.
9.3.2. If you are returning goods because you have changed your mind about the purchase, rather than because they are not as described on the website then you must pay the cost of return postage.
9.3.3. If return postage is being claimed we would expect only to refund the cost of the most economical reasonable method of return. The amount of refunded return postage is to be agreed with Little Wheels before the item is despatched.
9.3.4. When returning goods you are expected to take reasonable care to pack the item in such a way that both it and any original box, card or packaging which were supplied with the item are received at Little Wheels without damage in transit.
9.3.5. You have 14 days after receiving an item to return it to Little Wheels for refund.
9.3.6. Items must be returned to the address shown on your invoice.
9.3.7. All of the items for sale on Little Wheels have been previously owned and many of them have been damaged by previous owners. Some damage or play wear is expected with this type of merchandise and is not seen as a valid reason for items to be returned as unsatisfactory unless the description on the website was inaccurate.
