Made numerous attempts to communicate with the seller but am continuing to get porky-pies. The item I bought was 'by weight' listing. When I received,it was 18% less than the advertised weight. Seller would not give an adjustment by way of partial refund for the missing weight. (In fact claimed that it is eBay's recommendation not to!) Said it would have to be returned for full refund. The buyer’s issue seems to be with their own scales, not mine. Mine are calibrated — theirs, who knows? They insisted on a partial refund, which I don’t offer, and I don’t respond to blackmail-style pressure. eBay recommends a return for a full refund, which I offered right away. I can only work within policy, not demands.
