The boxes were opened, but they still had factory plastic wrap on the grills. They had never been completely opened. Everything was intact and all items present. They maybe had to list as used due to slight scuffing on the outer packaging? I'm using them in a SXS so even if they had a couple of scratches I wouldn't mind. I'm happy with this purchase.
