However they'd been posted in an ordinary paper envelope and had pierced one side of the envelope and were hanging out. Fortunately, the post office noticed this and placed the drills in another stronger envelope before posting them on to me. Therefore , in future - this supplier should take care and ensure any items that they are posting are securely packed before dispatching.

It managed the first two easily but the third took an age. Possibly the steel was too tempered and blunted the drill. Having said that it did the job I wanted and I have no complaints. Good price and good delivery. Many thanks.

I have to say this was despite being very well packaged and sealed with tape, so seller had obviously tried their best to prevent this. I contacted them and was offered a partial refund which I excepted.
